LIP SCRUB WITH NATURAL BIRCH BARK

Keep your lips soft with HAVU’s natural lip scrub! Our exfoliating lip scrub contains Finnish birch bark and over 60% natural oils. The cream has a lovely fresh, wooded scent.  

Good to know: only natural ingredients, includes COSMOS Approved ingredients, biobased and biodegradable packaging, cruelty-free, vegan 

How to use: For best results, exfoliate soft lips in the morning with the gentle birch scrub. Rinse with water and add some lip balm on the exfoliated lips. The scrub is also suitable for lip makeup removal.  

The main ingredient in our birch scrub is Finnish birch bark powder produced as a by-product of wood processing. At the moment, a large part of the side products of wood processing are not utilised, as they are burned for energy. HAVU's mission is to reduce the environmental pressure of the cosmetics industry, and we find it important to develop products that support the circular economy. HAVU's birch scrub gives Finnish ingredients a new life while reducing CO2 emissions. Moreover, birch bark powder is naturally biodegradable!

Packaging

HAVU's lip care products’ packaging is made from Sulapac Premium, which is a biodegradable packaging material made from wood and plant-based binders. The packaging decomposes in industrial composts and does not leave any microplastic behind.

Recycling

HAVU lip products are 100% biodegradable, which is like the best thing ever, but it’s important to recycle them right. It’s an easy and small thing for you to do and afterwards, nature will love you! 

You can sort HAVU lipstick or lip care containers after use into biowaste. The paper sticker at the bottom of the container can be placed into paper waste. The cardboard package and the mailing board are recycled as cardboard waste. Please do not dispose of HAVU products in nature! We do not support littering! The package does not decompose in nature, as the containers are industrially biodegradable. The right place for it is the housing association’s biowaste container.
